La Griglia's new location left no stone unturned when it comes to decor. Outside patio is so inviting. Perfect for a beautiful day in Houston if the weather is right..lol. The place was packed on a Saturday Night. The hostesses at the front directed us to the bar where my friend and I sat next to the cutest older couple. The bartender made a delicious old fashioned. I am a tequila girl so I requested Mezcal. I had to have 2 of them!!! Our waiter was knowledgeable and helped guide our choices. The manager came over and introduced himself and made sure our evening was going well. The next morning a representative from the restaurant called and thanked me for dining with them. I love that practice. Kudos to them. Pizza Breadsticks 5/5 Shrimp and crab cheesecake 3.9/5 Short Rib 5/5 Cheese Cake 2/5 Mezcal Old Fashioned 5/5 Salmon w/ Capers 5/5 (not pictured)

Hi everyone!! We brought or friend here to celebrate her graduating and the place it self was a whole experience!! From the interior design, grand florals, the bar it was quite beautiful. The Food was delicious, we wanted to know what " real Alfredo" pasta was so we ordered it and it came with 2 shrimp and shaved truffle. Seeing them prepare it was pretty awesome. The only reason why I am giving them 4 stars it's because of the service. We got there at 5pm and we left until 7:30pm. - One man picked up or drink order - 30 min later another man came to ask for the food order. - Once we got our food we ate and then ordered the dessert. I would say go with time, it seemed like they served All appetizers at once All main dishes at another time All desserts at another Pretty interesting technique but I was hangry so maybe don't be hangry like me and don't be in a rush!!!! Also you can park in the side but I'd rather pay for valet it on their property

11/10 service, great staff, table bread was so flavorful, my pasta and the flaming Parmesan cheese pasta was stellar, decor and vibes were elegant. Great experience!

This was my first time at the new location and I must say that it was wonderful! I loved the ambiance of the place. There is a dress code that's enforced. The staff were excellent and so helpful. The food was delicious. I had the flounder and it was probably the best flounder I have ever had. The key lime tart was an amazing dessert option as well. I will definitely come back in the future.

La Griglia is a wonderful spot for celebrating a special occasion or a night out. As soon as you step into the restaurant it becomes a vibrant and lively atmosphere. The patio is well done for summer/winters with fans and heaters making it reasonable to sit outside during those hot/cold seasons. The menu has a fantastic and wide section of Italian cuisine, wine and cocktails. The spaghetti carbonara being the star of all the items I tried. The service is next level with how impeccable and attentive the staff was to our dinning experience. We came in a large group (highly suggest making reservations for anything over 6 a few weeks in advance) and were accommodated in a private room, which was a nice touch. It allowed us to enjoy our meal in a more intimate and comfortable setting.

Took me a while to get in to the new La Griglia, but I'm glad I finally made it! We were sat inside just across from the bar, idk what it was but it was a little loud/difficult to hear each other across the table. The patio looks so dreamy and nice and at least they have fans and heaters outside, but I don't know how it fares for the height of houston summers. On to the drinks- enjoyed both of mine- the Gimlet citrusy and refreshing; the Bellini Saggio with dramatic presentation, slightly sweeter. We always do family style and these were our picks. Mussels and Clams- delicious, doesn't come with any bread but the table bread will do JUsT fine. Speaking of- the table bread had pizza, a poppy seed bread and sourdough. All lovely. Autumn salad- perfect portion to split and loved the balance of flavours here Carbonara- appetizer portion was a bit small split 5, good but nothing special. shortrib Cappaletti- loved the nice thin pasta, good flavour, could see this being a bit dry/meaty Dessert- had to get the Key Lime; it was a nice delicate dessert but personally I love the punch of key lime and this could have used a touch more. The strawberry cheesecake was too sweet for me, no tartness of the cheesecake. The lot is valet only but if you're lucky enough you can scout out street parking on either street adjacent to the complex.

Lagrila's atmosphere gave me a taste of Little Italy right here in Houston, almost like going to New York. Despite our waiter being stretched thin with tables, the service was amazing overall. I opted for the COLAZIONE AMERICANA: sunny side up eggs, bacon, home fries, biscuit, avocado, and fruit. The eggs were not quite to my liking, but everything else was enjoyable. The white sangria had a surprising jalapeno kick at the end, though the drinks overall could use a bit more finesse.
